<p><img alt="" src="/images/ckeditor_upload/picupload/1644912258.jpg" style="width: 25%;"></p><p>My Career 2015-2025 </p><p>I embarked on the path of Muay Thai art in 2015 as a self-taught practitioner. I had a solid foundation in the basics of self-defense because from a very young age I managed to pass a security guard course and worked in crowded places as a security guard. In 2018, I managed to obtain teaching videos from GM Woody and Kru Ralf Kussler. There I began to improve my technique and understand the culture and tradition of Muay Thai, in addition to training in Muay Thai temples. In 2019, I met a Cuban Muay Thai instructor who belongs to an Argentine Boxing Federation. I trained weekly and received 4 Muay Thai sessions where I improved my posture and technique. In 2020, we managed to bring Master Jorge Vásquez Jr., a Muay Thai master, to Cuba, where he gave us a 15-day seminar and 45 Muay Thai sessions based on a training manual sent by his father, Jorge Vásquez Sr. There were 3 sessions a day, day, afternoon, and night. In order to receive the Muay Thai Certificates, we had to do between 5 and 10 amateur Muay Thai fights. At the end, those of us who completed the seminar received certificates approved by Anecam, the approval of Jorge Vásquez Jr. and Jorge Vásquez Sr.</p><p>At the end of 2020 I have contact with Grandmaster Chinawut Sirisompan, where he helped and guided me on the path of Muay Thai, he was my true father and who taught me everything I needed to be a solid instructor in the art of Muay Thai, I received support and recognition from WMO and WMBF, the first Cuban in history to be recognized by GM Woody, WMO and WMBF. In 2021 I received recognition from the Pan-American Martial Arts Association, being one of the few Cuban masters to receive such an important achievement. In 2022 I created the Cuban Muay Boran Association affiliated with WMBF. Between 2022 and 2024, we achieved more than 150 Muay Thai practitioners in my 2 schools where our exhibitions are acclaimed and our Muay Thai schools are admired for our hard work. Our Muay Thai schools shared teachings and seminars with BJJ, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Kudo.</p><p><br></p><p>Important Note From 2020 to 2025, with great sacrifice, we managed to create our own space to teach Muay Thai, where we preserved the Muay Thai tradition and culture, changing the way of life of many Cuban children and young people thanks to Muay Thai</p><p>14 Jul 2025, 22:25</p>
